Gerne zeigen wir Ihnen, wie nachhaltige Landwirtschaft funktioniert und nehmen Sie mit zu unseren Fischteichen oder führen Sie in die Welt der Käseherstellung ein. Wir, Sabine und Willibald Hollweck, unser Sohn David sowie seine Frau Lisa freuen uns auf Ihren Besuch.
In Chalet 3 you can also spend your holiday with your dog.
Location & Size
If our farm could speak - it would have a lot to tell. Its history dates back to 1647 - two mighty lime trees, more than 400 years old, still bear witness to the past. Over the generations (we are the tenth), we have preserved traditions, produced healthy food - and always treated the animals with respect. Our farm has therefore been awarded the "Landgrün" seal, which stands for hosts and accommodation that are committed to sustainability.
Our "Hollwecks Landoase" has its name not by chance: we are idyllically and quietly located between Nuremberg and Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate. It is about thirty kilometres to Nuremberg and Neumarkt is only 15 kilometres away.
Our three chalets were built in 2019 using solid timber construction. We have placed them in such a way that each guest can be completely to themselves - and no one looks at the other's terrace. They are modernly furnished, have two bedrooms, and we have chosen natural colours. Since they are at ground level, they are also ideal for older people. Next to our breakfast chalet, where we spoil you with our many farm products, two campers can be parked: an option that groups often like to take advantage of.
Best of all is our view: of meadows and forests over the hilly countryside. Our guests say they have never slept better than here with us. Try it out!
Farm experiences
We are a full-time farm. Our 45 dairy cows and their offspring are lovingly cared for by us - their milk is used to make delicious cheeses with names like "Da Feirige", "Da Klosterer" or the "Willi-Bert". Our farm shop is always open on Fridays, where we also sell fish products from our own farm. Besides the shop, there is also our self-service farm shop with milk, flour, pasta, jams, eggs and meat - and of course our own products, i.e. cheese and fish. All are sustainably produced, come from the area and are available around the clock.
Farmer Willibald not only knows his way around cheese - but his fish farm is second to none. The Sindelbach, which feeds our fish ponds, rises very close to our farm, its pure spring water is ice-cold at only 11 degrees - and thus particularly rich in oxygen. Char, trout, carp - but also catfish and sturgeon feel at home in it. A visit to the ponds is an extraordinary experience for children, but also for adults: the self-caught fish tastes even better freshly grilled in the evening.
In addition to our cows and fish, we also have a few cats and our lovable Bernese Senn mix, Benno.
Immerse yourself in rural life, enjoy our nature, go on long hikes - that's what we recommend to our guests. And for those who want to learn a little more about themselves: hostess Sabine offers "numerology", "energetic guidance" and much more. What else we have to offer:

Would you like to organise a family reunion with us? Organise a seminar or meet as a friendly couple? Then you are in good hands with us. Our seminar room is perfect for this, we offer a rich breakfast buffet for five people or more - and we are happy to organise really good catering. Or you can take part in one of our seminars: learn how to prepare cheese or how real, Bavarian "countrywomen's cuisine" works.
When it's winter
Our countryside is something special at any time of year. In summer you can swim in Happurg Lake, in autumn you can go on bicycle tours, and in winter you can enjoy the beautiful "Fackelmann" thermal baths in nearby Hersbruck after long walks. If there is snow, head for the cross-country ski run - children whizz down the hill on our toboggans.
Highlights in the surrounding area
Our farm is located in the "Innehalten Region" - and that is exactly our tip to our guests. Hike directly from our farm to the springs of the Sindelbach or walk a piece of the nearby Jakobsweg. For cyclists, we recommend the "Schweppermannradweg". And of course a visit to Nuremberg, Regensburg or Neumarkt is recommended.

In each of the 3 identically constructed overnight chalets there is a large bedroom for 2 people and a smaller one for 2 children or an adult. There is also a sofa bed in the living/dining area. A small but fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and large refrigerator invites you to cook and enjoy. Towels and a hairdryer are provided in the shower room. A covered terrace invites you to linger in the fresh air. The terraces are not visible from the other chalets. The area and chalets are at ground level and are easily accessible for older people. Of course, the chalets have WLAN.
