Parking at the house, free bus rides with the RVO m. Kurkarte (except hiking bus, Kehlsteinfahrt), electricity and water.
At your disposal are: Handkerchiefs, cosmetic tissues, liquid soap, dishwashing liquid, coffee filter, information folder for vacation planning.
In the outdoor area there is a large playground with giant trampoline, swings, large sand playground, slide, seesaw, small climbing wall, play tower, kettcars, go-cart, various pedal tractors, table tennis, badminton, sun loungers, barbecue, cozy gazebo, if needed crib, high chair, diaper pail, changing pad.
Location & Size
On a sunny slope in the Berchtesgaden National Park, our vacation farm is in a secluded location at the end of a wide flat sandy road. At the edge of the picturesque wildflower meadow, the trees group around the sparse slope like a natural privacy screen from the outside, while the view from the Ferienhof remains unobstructed for a breathtaking 360-degree panorama. We are lucky enough to call the majestic Watzmann our neighbor, rising in close proximity to the south of us. Next to it, the peaks of Jenner, Hochkalter, Grünstein and Brandkopf look down on us. The vacation paradise on our adventure farm is located halfway between Königssee and the lake shore, which is only a fifteen-minute walk away, and the valley station of the Jenner cable car is just 800 meters away! The town center of Berchtesgaden is barely five kilometers and seven minutes by car from us and forms the center of the five surrounding communities of the National Park on the edge of the Alps. Whether hiking, via ferrata, boating or skiing in winter, vacationers will find all these possibilities right on our doorstep. Our two vacation apartments "Grünstein" and "Jenner" welcome guests on 52 and 70 square meters, respectively, with all the amenities they need for their nature-oriented vacation in the National Park: Two separate bedrooms, a bright eat-in kitchen, a large furnished terrace or balcony and a fully equipped kitchen offer space for two to four people. If required, we will gladly provide you with infant equipment such as a crib, high chair, diaper pail, changing mat, so that you do not have to bring everything yourself and can arrive and relax right away. Of course, our parking lot at the house is at your disposal.
Farm experiences
There is never a dull moment on our active farm with suckler cows! Whether petting, feeding or playing, our animals look forward to company: calves and young calves, dwarf rabbits, dwarf goats, chickens and roosters and tomcat Felix keep the guest children properly on their toes. Together with the farmer's wife they can fetch the eggs fresh from the nest and help with the feeding in the barn.

Should the weather not play along so well, nobody has to be bored at Ferienhof Koppensteinlehen anyway. Small guests can look forward to their own fully equipped playroom in the house, with a small store, table football, a large selection of books for all ages and comfortable cushions. This also gives parents the opportunity to devote themselves to a good book in peace and quiet, to simply relax without a care in the world, or to plan an excursion for the next sunny day.
Highlights in the surroundings
If you like the outdoors, you will feel right at home in the versatile Berchtesgaden National Park! Numerous hiking trails start right in front of the house and a true recreational paradise extends around the Königsee, which wants to be discovered by families and active vacationers! For example, the surrounding mountains can be easily explored on a boat trip from the lake, whereas the most beautiful views of the mountains and lake can be seen from above, for example from the Grünstein or the viewing platform on the Jennergipfel. You can overcome the 1,874 meters in altitude to the Jenner either on foot or comfortably with the mountain railroad, or you can let the bus and a panoramic elevator take you up to the Kehlsteinhaus, which is definitely worth a visit. Whichever you choose, the view of the Watzmann is included in almost every activity! Our personal excursion tips:
A boat trip across the Königssee to Salet and on foot to the Fischunkelalm at the Obersee to the highest waterfall in Germany, the Röthbachfall with a total drop of 470 meters.
A hike to the Brandkopf followed by a walk to the summer toboggan run at Hochlenzer, with a cable car descent from Obersalzberg to Berchtesgaden and back with the RVO - bus ( free of charge ) to Königssee.
The good 3.5 km long Malerwinkel circular path is a comfortable walk and the easy hike on this path runs without any significant difference in altitude with the detour to the Rabenwand (875 m).

The apartment is on the first floor and has a secluded terrace to the south side with free and beautiful view to the Watzmann and Jenner, Schönfeldspitze and Funtenseetauern, Grünstein and Reiteralpe. This is equipped with table, bench and chairs with cushions and clothes horse. The awning provides shade. There are two separate bedrooms available. One with double beds 1,80 m x 2,00 m and one with 2 single beds each 1,00 m x 2,00 m. All beds have adjustable head and footboards, and there is a closet in each bedroom. There is a safe in the bedroom. Large eat-in kitchen with Alno built-in kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, water and egg boiler, toaster, fridge-freezer and HIFI system, large flat screen TV and large living couch with coffee table are located in the living area. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and large couch with upholstery, hairdryer and vanity mirror, hand and shower towels, bath mats, a 3-piece shelf and window. The toilet with sink and window is separate. In the hallway is the wardrobe with shoehorn and dressing mirror.
