The Alpe Burgerschl\u00e4g or Alpe Hintere K\u00f6lle are worthwhile refreshment stops and can be perfectly combined with the large forest playground. The Wertacher H\u00f6rnle itself offers great views over Kempten, Memmingen, the Rottachsee, Gr\u00fcntensee, all the way to the Forggensee and from the Sorgschrofen over the Gimpel - even as far as the Zugspitze on a clear day. Our tip: visit in June or July when the alpine roses are in bloom, transforming the slopes around the crystal-clear H\u00f6rnlesee lake into fragrant flower
