Wir sind Gastgeber mit Herz. Unser größtes Anliegen besteht darin, dass Ihr bei uns, egal ob alleine, als Paar oder in der Familie Euren Urlaub genießt. Unser Hof liegt zentral zwischen Pfronten und Füssen und gleichzeitig abgeschieden inmitten intakter Natur. Wir, Gaby und Helmut, unsere drei erwachsenen Kinder sowie unsere sechs Enkelkinder freuen uns auf Euch. Kommt und erlebt den Holderbusch !
Rates and Conditions:
Prices are plus the local tourist tax.
Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM or by arrangement.
Check-out is by 10:00 AM.
In case of cancellation, 90% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
A deposit of 80% of the total price is required immediately after booking.
The remaining balance can be paid on-site in cash or transferred in advance.
No refund is given for early departure.
We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
If booking is made less than 3 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid in cash upon arrival. Card payments are not possible.
Pets are allowed on request, with a fee of €7.50 per day per dog.

Location & size
The history of our farm goes back around 200 years. Much has changed over the decades – and we too have contributed enthusiastically to creating a harmonious environment for our guests. From the very beginning, we liked the idea of sharing the holiday farm with guests and helping to ensure that a holiday at ‘am Holderbusch’ is energising and remains a fond memory for a long time to come. To get your stay off to a good start, we offer a stocked fridge on arrival: filled with regional, authentic products that do not come from the supermarket, but from small dairies, butchers or bakers.
Our holiday farm is centrally located between Pfronten and Füssen, both Allgäu towns less than ten kilometres away. Those who enjoy swimming in summer can reach Lake Weißensee on foot in twenty minutes. What do we like to tell our guests when they arrive? To leave their cars behind. Because right from the farm, you can go on a variety of excursions and numerous hikes. Our spacious garden with many romantic seating areas invites you to leave everyday life behind.
We have furnished our holiday flat as if we were living in it ourselves. To be honest, its location is the icing on the cake. From the east-facing balcony, you can watch the sun rise – then the entire Ammergau mountain range glows with breathtaking beauty. Our furniture is made of solid wood and the mattresses are of really good quality.
Farm experiences
We are a large family with three adult children and five grandchildren. As we only rent out one holiday apartment, couples seeking peace and quiet feel just as at home with us as families with children. We have a few chickens, guinea pigs, cats and miniature goats living on our farm. Children are free to run around, explore the tree house or play in the sandpit with water to their heart's content . What is particularly important to us is creating an environment for children and their parents where they can pause and reflect. For this reason, we encourage our guests to stay longer than just a few days. Find time to look up at the sky, read a good book in the garden and, otherwise, simply try ‘doing nothing’ for a change. Our herb garden is inspiring, and we are happy to share our knowledge about their healing powers. For inspiration, we have Themed weeks: have you ever been to the Allgäu region when dandelion flowers dot the meadows and there is a constant humming and buzzing everywhere? Or have you always wanted to consciously enjoy the pre-Christmas period? We can only recommend it.
Incidentally, the name of our farm is no coincidence: elderberry is revered as a sacred tree here. It is said that sitting beneath it will rid you of your worries. That's probably why children like to sit under the ‘Hollerbusch’ (elder bush). We think that's a lovely idea.
Why couples love coming to stay with us
Families with children will find plenty of space in our high-quality holiday apartment. But couples also appreciate the spacious layout, the huge sofa, the relaxation chair – and the views of the surrounding mountains. After a long hike, you can reflect on the day or start the evening with a nice glass of wine while watching the sun go down. ‘Relaxation allowed’ is the holiday motto here on our farm: if you like, you can enjoy a massage in our garden.
Winter begins right outside our door
In the Allgäu region, winter usually delivers what it promises. When Mother Holle has been busy, the children get out their sledges, the cross-country ski trail starts right next to the farm, and the nearby ‘Pfronten Ski Centre’ can be reached in just a few minutes. We highly recommend a snowshoe hike through the untouched snow: an experience you will never forget.
Highlights in the surrounding area
Arrive and leave your car behind. You can do that here without any ifs or buts. We invite you to take a walk: across our orchards and the natural garden to the Falkenstein castle ruins, continuing over the Zirmgrat with its sunrise spot. The Salober Alm is a wonderful place to stop for refreshments and, before heading back, take a refreshing swim in the Alatsee. We have countless hiking suggestions for you – and excursions, for example to the royal castles of Ludwig II.

Hier werdet Ihr Euch gleich zu Hause fühlen. Diese Wohnung hat viel Platz für Euch und Eure Lieben. Liebevolle Kleinigkeiten schaffen ein warmes Wohlgefühl. Gerne wohnen hier Familien, jedoch ebenso Einzelpersonen oder Paare die gerne etwas mehr Platz haben und sich im Urlaub etwas gönnen wollen. Es lädt Euch ein großer Ostbalkon ein um zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit die Berge in Ihren unterschiedlichen Impressionen zu bewundern. Eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Essplatz und ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Eckcouch und Fernsehsessel im „Hirsch-Ambiente“ machen Lust auf gemütliche Abende. Ein Doppelzimmer und ein großzügiges Drei-Bett-Schlafzimmer mit hochwertigen Boxspringbetten, kuscheligen Bettdecken und Balkon mit Bergblick sorgen für ruhige Nächte. Dusche und WC sind natürlich separat.
