The center of Tirschenreuth with shopping facilities, caf\u00e9s and restaurants is only a seven-minute drive away. The next largest town, Weiden in der Oberpfalz, offers even more cultural opportunities and can be reached in just under 30 minutes by car. Our vacation farm with a dairy farm and a large garden is nestled in the village. Surrounded by the charm of the Bavarian countryside, you can enjoy the proximity to nature in our two comfortably furnished vacation apartments. With direct access from the balcony\/terrace to the garden, you are just a few steps away from the greenery and can even pick juicy pears and apples directly from our old fruit trees in the fall. The garden access is also extremely practical when on vacation with your dog, if you need to go out quickly with your furry friend in the morning or evening. Our apartments are also equipped for children with baby crib, changing mat, high chair and stool. A highlight is our farm's own pond, where anglers can cast their line and four-legged friends can cool off in the water with their families. However, our favorite guests are children, who bring a lot of life to our farm. As they quickly develop a close friendship with our calves, every child on vacation can sponsor one of the cute animals with the googly eyes. It is especially nice for us to see the children's eyes light up when they return to \"their\" animal on vacation the following year and visit it in the barn.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Ch3\u003EHighlights in the surrounding area\u003C\/h3\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Upper Palatinate tends to fly under the radar when it comes to vacation regions in Bavaria. Yet the region near the Czech border has plenty of exciting things to offer away from mass tourism. Just outside of Tirschenreuth (15 minutes by car), you can explore the charming surroundings around the famous pond pan with numerous large and small lakes in the moorland area via the Himmelsleiter and Heusterzbr\u00fccke bridges. Or discover the enchanting Waldnaab valley, for example, where the Waldnaab meanders through the Falkenburg massif, passing untouched forests and bizarre rock formations. Cycling tours, walks, Nordic walking and hikes can be undertaken directly from the farm. If you want to learn something at the same time, you can find out a lot about the forest habitat at 23 stations on the forest adventure trail in Waldsassen. Especially great for children: various adventure stations such as a barefoot trail, forest playground and much more. Fans of old castles and palaces can travel back in time at the Liebenstein castle ruins just five minutes away by car. The well-preserved castle ruins can be accessed via a wooden drawbridge. The excursion can also be wonderfully combined with a hike of just under an hour.\u00a0Anglers can also cast a line in the Liebenstein reservoir or the Rothenb\u00fcrger Weiher pond and experience a great catch!
