The view of the foothills of the Alps and the Allg\u00e4u mountains is simply magnificent from here. We have a long tradition of hosting guests, which we are happy to continue. Many regular guests have been coming to us for many years, which makes us very happy - they appreciate the great surroundings and the beauty of our region just as much as we do. To preserve this for future generations, we have been running our grassland farm with young cattle as an organic farm for five years. We do this out of conviction, because it is important to us that our animals can graze on the lush pastures. Over the years, we have furnished four cozy, comfortable vacation apartments for up to four people for our guests, which have been designed to be modern and inviting. It is important to us that you will find everything you need on site: From the changing unit to the high chair to the fully equipped kitchen, everything is there. The spacious garden is a paradise for children, with a large trampoline, a playhouse, pedal cars, a large sandpit and of course lots of animals to pet.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Ch3\u003EFarm experiences\u003C\/h3\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Allg\u00e4u is worth a visit at any time of year. Whether for a summer vacation with the family, a hiking vacation in spring or skiing in winter - everything is possible here. The stars of our farm are of course our animals. Freki, our dog, loves to play and likes to show guests around. In addition to cows and chickens, geese and the two farm cats Isidor and Hermine, the two horses Nicolle and Una also live on the farm. Children are welcome to help us with the daily chores: mucking out the stables, cleaning the horses, riding, feeding ... and those who prefer engines can also take a ride on the tractor.\u00a0\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ESustainable out of conviction\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003ESustainability has been very important to us, and not just since we converted to an organic farm. Green electricity from photovoltaic systems supplies a large part of our electricity needs. We also generate our own heat: The entire vacation farm is heated by a modern log heating system in combination with a wood pellet boiler. The wood required is obtained from our own forest, almost exclusively from storm damage. In addition to the farm, we also run the Gletscheralp excursion restaurant, where both heating and hot water are generated using a geothermal heat pump. We also generate most of the electricity required for this with our own PV system. And we even have our own drinking water from our own spring, which tastes really fresh!\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWinter fun right next door\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EOur location couldn't be more convenient for winter sports fans, as we run the Eschach family and children's ski area right next to our farm. Several lifts and children's lifts provide skiing fun, and those who are not yet confident on skis can also take a ski course. Ski equipment and snowboards can be hired directly on site. If the slopes are too fast for you, you can also go cross-country skiing on the trails close to the farm. Our cozy Gletscheralp is the perfect place to stop for refreshments afterwards. Here you can enjoy delicious culinary delicacies such as Allg\u00e4u Maultaschen, bread dumplings, Kaiserschmarrn, warming soups or hearty snacks.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Ch3\u003EHighlights in the surrounding area\u003C\/h3\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003ENot far from the farm is the Eschacher Weiher, where you can go hiking and swimming in summer. A beautiful hike leads to the Wolfsberg and then to the Kreuzlesh\u00f6he, starting point is the parking lot at the Hofgut in Unterk\u00fcrnach. The AOK Nordic-Walking Parcour is also very popular in the area and is not far from the starting point. The Eschach Planetary Trail is pram-friendly and great for families. The eight-kilometre trail teaches you about the solar system in a fun way, with a short quiz at each station. The Panorama Bikepark is very close by and also offers bike courses for all levels of ability.
