In 1990 our family took over the farm from our aunt Resi, initially as a classic dairy farm, which we closed down in 1996. In 2005 we decided to set up a riding business, which our daughter Barbara now runs with passion together with her husband Seppi.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EAre you wondering about our farm name, which is centuries old? It now fits perfectly here - because it describes the silhouette from the Hocheck mountain, which actually resembles the back of a horse.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EWhat our guests particularly appreciate: we are right in the middle of it all. In nature, on the mountains, near the lakes, not far from the cross-country ski trails and ski areas and at the same time you can reach the state capital of Munich by train in just under an hour. Kufstein is a good half hour away from us, and the Mozart city of Salzburg can be reached in just over an hour.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EWe have furnished our two holiday apartments and the double room in a rural and, above all, authentic way to suit our surroundings - some with original furniture from the farm. Our guests particularly like this, especially the children are happy about our painted farmer's bed, in which they can dream wonderfully. The apartments have access to our balcony, from which you can look over lush green or, in winter, thickly snow-covered meadows across the Inn Valley to Rosenheim as well as our local mountains, the Fahrenpoint and the Schwarzenberg. If you like, book a breakfast with products that mostly come from our own garden from July to October: healthy teas, fresh coffee, organic farm cheese, homemade jams and honey from the neighbor. A day of vacation couldn't really start any better.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Ch3\u003EFarm experiences\u003C\/h3\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EWe are not a farm with cows - as you would normally imagine. But we are still a farm. We live in the rhythm of nature and harvest the grass from our meadows for our horses. We always hear that families with children enjoy spending time together with us - also because there are only two holiday apartments. Our playground invites you to let off steam, explore the area using pedal vehicles and if the weather doesn't cooperate, we have a play area in the hallway on the holiday apartment level. What the children love most is our animals: The rooster in the basket is our lovable Golden Retriever dog Gerti - who takes every heart by storm. The two cats Carli and Lillo are just waiting for a cuddle, the rabbits for a carrot and our ponies and Haflingers for an hour of riding lessons or guided riding. Our own Haflingers and the two ponies Emma and Sunshine can be ridden as long as time allows. Emma is exactly the right size for children aged three and over. We offer guided riding but also riding lessons in our 20 by 40 meter riding hall. Because as we all know, the happiness of this earth lies on the backs of horses.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ECome visit in late winter\u2026.\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003ECouples also feel very comfortable on our farm. This is because we only rent two apartments and one room and it is therefore tranquil and quiet. Especially in early spring between February and April there is often still snow, the cross-country ski trails in Hundham are groomed and the winter hiking trails invite you to take long walks. If you like whizzing down the slopes, you can reach the two extensive ski areas Spitzingsee or Sudelfeld in 20 minutes. Winter in our area is one thing above all: magical.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Ch3\u003EHighlights in the area\u003C\/h3\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EWith us you can even do without the car. Lace up your hiking boots and walk via Schwarzenberg to the Tregler Alm: with a wonderful view of the Schliersee mountains. Visit Fischbachau, one of the most beautiful places in the Oberland. During the summer months, the Schliersee beckons for swimming and the Wendelstein with its views.
