Location & Size
Arrive, exhale, send your gaze into the distance: our farm, family-owned since 1610, scores not only with a good view. Once we were a real farm, which was later moved out - today we are a country farm, which is happy to spoil its guests. Actually, everything is possible here: you can hike away from the farm, in winter, when there is snow, you can take long walks with a view of the snow-covered mountains. The nature spoiled Hopfensee is only 5 km away, a distance that can be easily managed by bike. You can reach Füssen in about 15 minutes, Kempten in half an hour, the royal castles in Schwangau in about 20 minutes. The Austrian border is also close by.
Our four apartments and two double rooms, which are often booked together by families or couples, have been awarded four and five stars. We have furnished them in a high-quality rural-modern style with solid wood furniture and new bathrooms The apartments have a winter garden or spacious balconies, from which you can send the view towards the mountains at breakfast - or in the evening with a glass of wine to watch the sun go down. On request we prepare a fine breakfast with exclusively good regional products.
Farm experiences
We are not a farm anymore - nevertheless we have many animals that are happy to be petted: our cuddly cats, the rabbits or guinea pigs. Our clucking hens deliver best eggs in organic quality, grandma Pepi takes care of her herbs, the vegetable garden and the flowers - she has the green thumb and from her you can learn many a tip. Families and couples with dogs are also welcome, provided they have good manners.
Families with children enjoy the space, the large yard without traffic and the wonderful peace. Our garden has a playground with swings, sandbox and a giant trampoline, parents read in a deck chair on one of the two terraces or use our barbecue area. Speaking of which, once a week in the summer we organize a joint barbecue and buy the drinks with a final really good liquor. What else is there with us:
- Playroom with little houses, dolls, store and much more.

- Bobbycars, pedal bulldogs with trailers, large kettcars for two
- Football field with goal
Massages and wellness, pure relaxation during the cold season
Maybe you will come and visit us once during the quiet time. For good reasons: especially in November, December or January to March it is really cozy outside the vacation season. Long walks, maybe the one or other mountain bike or e-bike tour on our good bike trails revive the senses - always looking at the perhaps already or still snow-covered peaks. And afterwards you may indulge yourself with a professional massage in our wellness area with sauna and relaxation room. Because your hostess Hildegard has been a medical bath attendant and masseuse for 20 years. Whether "Abhyanga", an Ayurvedic full-body massage, fascia massage or "La Stone Therapy" - she will be happy to give professional advice on what suits best. You can reserve the entire sauna area for yourself, even as a family, combined with individual massages as desired.
Winter in the Ostallgäu
We like every season - but winter, when it has freshly snowed and the Tannheimer Berge and the Ammergebirge are shining, our hearts go out to us and our guests. Directly from the house you can take endless walks, for example to the Alpe Beichelstein, 45 minutes away. Cross-country skiers enter directly into the cross-country ski trail Hopferau, who wants to try snowshoeing can book guided hikes in the village. Skiers go to Nesselwang, which is only 15 km away, to Pfronten or Schwangau. What you should definitely try once - a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride, provided there is enough snow.
