Willkommen auf dem Seeleitenhof in Sindelsdorf am Fuß der Oberbayerischen Alpen. Unser Bio-Bauernhof ist ein Paradies für Naturliebhaber, Familien und alle, die eine entspannte Auszeit im Pfaffenwinkel suchen. Wir, Christa Schlögel und Familie, legen viel Wert auf ein Leben im Einklang mit der Natur und freuen uns sehr, Sie bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen.
Cancellation Policy:
In case of cancellation the following agreement applies:
If a substitute tenant is found under the same conditions, we keep the deposit of 100.- Euro.
If no substitute tenant is found under the same conditions, 90% of the agreed price will be charged per night. The same applies in case of early departure.
A deposit of 100,00 Euro is due directly after booking.

Departure is from 09:00 to 10:00, if you want to leave earlier please let us know the day before.
Location & Size
Our Seeleitenhof is situated in a wonderful secluded location on a sunny plateau 500 metres from Sindelsdorf, halfway between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Here you have a fantastic view at any time of the year of the blue mountains of the Pfaffenwinkel (from the Benediktenwand to the Zugspitze), of the wide Loisach-Kochelsee moor and of eventful days in a magical cultural landscape that has already enchanted painters such as Franz Marc. Our farm is one of the oldest in the area, its history even goes back to the late Middle Ages and was dated to the year 1487 in the Benediktbeuern monastery. The location in the middle of lush meadows, with a view of the mountains and the proximity to bodies of water such as the Kochelsee still inspires us today. To preserve our nature, we pay special attention to organic farming, landscape conservation and alternative energies. We have built our three holiday flats for up to five people using ecological materials and lovingly furnished them with lots of wood and cosy furniture, so that you can feel at home with us and enjoy the sweet idleness.

When the weather is nice, the herb garden is a special place of peace, relaxation and inspiration. It has been aligned according to the cardinal points and the corresponding elements. According to ancient tradition, the forces of nature are divided into the elements of fire, earth, water and air. Certain qualities can be assigned to these four primal elements, including the seasons and the cycles of life. We invite you to enjoy this sensual place and to draw strength from it. You are welcome to harvest and enjoy various tea plants in the herb garden.

Bad weather means pampering time for our guests. Whether it's paper-making with local plants, a connoisseur's hour or learning more about the famous Sindelsdorf artists of the Blaue Reiter - this is real sour weather happiness!
Highlights in the surrounding area
Located at the foot of the Upper Bavarian Alps, the surrounding mountains of the Seeleitenhof lure our guests out into nature. Sindelsdorf is one of the oldest villages in the Pfaffenwinkel and the surrounding area offers a lot of art and culture: castles, impressive churches and monasteries such as the Benediktbeuern Monastery (ten minutes away by car) and museums are worth seeing and easy to reach. The Bavarian foothills of the Alps have a lot to offer in terms of scenery. Lakes, rivers, moors and mountains can be ideally explored on hikes. Lake Kochel is about 20 minutes away by car, as is the Franz Marc Museum on the lakeshore. The "Blaue Land", as it is also fondly called because of its special evening atmosphere, also offers numerous farmers' markets and a lively Bavarian pub culture. Cities worth seeing such as Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen are 45 and 30 minutes away respectively.

New and beautiful, clean lines, natural materials such as Lodendiwan, clay plaster and oiled oak planks, harmonious colors and solid wood furniture from the carpenter.
The bedrooms are equipped with high quality double beds and can be darkened in the light season with electric external blinds, they are separated from the living room with 4 heavy oak sliding doors.
The open plan living-dining room is equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, solid wood furniture and a high quality loden divan.
When you let the doors disappear into the wall, it results in a spacious living feel.
In the bathroom, the morning greets you through the large window and is equipped with rain shower, glass partition and toilet.
Lovers of cozy sloping ceilings can snuggle into the exclusive feel-good bed, admire the sweeping view of the Alpine chain through the panoramic window and watch the stars, sit on the sheltered east-facing balcony, enjoy the view of Benediktbeuern Monastery and the sunrise between the mountain peaks.
For a fee, a washing machine and dryer are available in the laundry room, ironing board and iron are available.
We are happy to put a crib in the apartment if needed.
