Wir sind die Familie Kurzemann und begrüßen Sie herzlich in unserem idyllischen Haus im Landkreis Lindau. Hier, umgeben von malerischer Landschaft, laden wir Sie ein, die Ruhe und Schönheit der Umgebung zu genießen. Ob entspannte Tage in der Natur, die Umgebung erkunden oder Seele baumeln lassen, bei uns im Wald & Wiesenparadies sind Sie richtig!

Need a little break? Want to relax? Breathe in the country air, take a quick trip to the lake, enjoy hiking in the mountains, get to know the Allgäu region, soak up some culture in Bregenz, stroll along the promenade in Lindau, see the happy, contented eyes of your children, hop on your bike right outside your front door, smell the fresh grass or hay... You can experience all this and much more with us. Our two new vacation apartments were built in 2024 in our house, a former agricultural building. We have put a lot of love, time, and work into the design and construction of the apartments. Our top priority is that we ourselves feel comfortable here. With this goal in mind, both apartments are cozy, but also modern and contemporary. Our quiet but central location on the outskirts of Niederstaufen below the “Rohrachschlucht” nature and landscape conservation area offers enough space for 4-5 people per apartment. Located in the border triangle of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Niederstaufen is the ideal base for endless activities and excursions in the surrounding area. The good transport connections (5 minutes to the A96 motorway) by car, bus, or bicycle make Niederstaufen a perfect starting point. In 15 minutes by car, you can reach the surrounding towns of Bregenz, Wangen, and Lindau. Day trips to the fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein, Oberstdorf, Mainau Island, or the Affenberg monkey park in Salem are ideal, varied destinations for the whole family. Public transport also connects us every half hour to Lake Constance, the Allgäu region, Austria, and Switzerland. The surrounding train stations in Lindau, Hergatz, and Heimenkirch offer regular train connections to Oberstaufen, Oberstdorf, Ulm, Füssen, Augsburg, Munich, Zurich, and Innsbruck. Many swimming lakes and outdoor pools are just 10-20 minutes away. In winter, numerous ski resorts, such as Steibis/Hündle/Hochhäderich, invite beginners and cross-country skiers to enjoy great winter sports. For passionate skiers, a variety of ski resorts can be reached in about 60 minutes. Both apartments have a spacious, fully equipped kitchen. Ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, and toaster are all part of the basic equipment. The living area leads to the covered, spacious balconies, which are furnished with new garden furniture/parasols and both equipped with gas grills. From here, you have wonderful views of the countryside, Lake Constance, Vorarlberg, and Switzerland. Fantastic sunsets are guaranteed. In the bedrooms, each apartment has one room with a double bed and another room with two to three single beds. The bathrooms are newly built and flooded with daylight, featuring new washer-dryers and spacious showers. Both apartments have separate guest WCs. You will also find a flat-screen TV in the living rooms. The windows are fitted with insect screens. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. A charging station for electric cars and a lockable bicycle shed with charging facilities, both directly at the house, ensure further relaxation. A new barbecue area with a fire pit has been designed for our guests. On our family-friendly farm, you will be greeted by our family dog “Poldi". A donkey, a pony, various chickens, and sheep with their lambs are also part of our country life. In 2021, we planted a spacious orchard with over 40 fruit trees that are suitable for the region. We are a certified organic farm.
