Wir, Familie Rüger, sind drei Generationen auf dem Ferienhof Waldblick mitten im Fränkischen Seenland. Auf unserem familienfreundlichen Ferienhof gibt es für Klein und Groß viel zu entdecken. Seit 2018 führen wir, Katrin und Roland, mit viel Leidenschaft, Motivation und Unterstützung unserer Kinder Hannah und Paul den neu erbauten Ferienhof - und auch Oma Gertraud hilft bei der Hofpflege mit.
The prices include:
Linen (bed linen, towels and tea towels). Please do not forget to bring your bath towels for the swimming pool or for the trip to the lake.
Baby and toddler equipment (high chair, crib, bed guard, changing table, child's step stool, potty, cold pack and night light). Upon agreement, we provide the following items free of charge: Baby bath, nursing pillow, buggy, stroller, hot water bottle, cherry pit pillow.
WLAN, final cleaning, additional costs, parking space, use of the playground equipment and the legally valid VAT.
Consumables
Items that you consume during your stay are to be provided by yourself. A basic equipment, from toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, -machine taps..., is available in each apartment.
Exclusive services
The tourist tax is exclusive and amounts to 1€/day per adult.
Location & Size
Our holiday farm is situated on the outskirts of Haundorf, nestled between meadows, fields and the beautiful Mönchswald forest, which is why our guests can enjoy an unrestricted, wide view of nature from their terraces. But it is not only from the garden lounger that you are close to the varied landscape. In the four large flats and the two shepherd's caravan flats, which are built using ecological solid wood construction methods, you will immediately feel the cosy comfort with all your senses.
The flats are equipped with everything your holiday heart desires.
The spacious shepherd's caravan flats, which are called "Hannah" and "Paul", guarantee a unique holiday experience. True to the motto "small but nice", the two flats offer plenty of space to feel good and relax. The now large fan community consists of couples, small families looking for a great adventure holiday and grandparents holidaying together with the family.
We also attached great importance to ecological and regional materials when fitting out the interiors of all the accommodation units. Our guests particularly appreciate the fact that all bedroom and living room windows can be darkened with a roller shutter or window shutter and that insects also have no access because of a fly screen.
Not only the proximity to nature is important to us, but also a mindful use of our resources. With our central woodchip heating, photovoltaic systems and e-car charging stations, we ensure a responsible use of energy in the long term.
Farm experiences
Start the day with a wonderful breakfast! We prepare a filled basket with regional products, homemade jams, fresh seasonal fruit and sausage from the country butcher for you. Our guests especially love the "filled fridge" service. We stock it with many delicacies from the region before your arrival.
Boredom is definitely not an option on our holiday farm. Together we feed and muck out our donkeys, dwarf goats, guinea pigs and chickens. In the evening, the children are allowed to bring the goats into the stable and fetch the freshly laid eggs from the henhouse.
The heart of our holiday farm is the large playground with slide, bird's nest swing, mud kitchen, huge trampoline, water course and a sandpit that offers space for everyone. There is also the vehicle barn, which houses a table tennis table and a table football table as well as a huge fleet of vehicles for young and old. A highlight for everyone is our tractor ride and our much sought-after pizza baking evening with homemade wholemeal dough. The children slip into the baker's role, roll and top their pizzas themselves, and then eat them with audible smacking pleasure.
In addition, there is a varied weekly programme in which our guests can participate: Farmyard experiences, carriage rides or a pirate trip with the "MS Altmühlsee".
For those who want to take it easy in between and gather strength, we have small, cosy oases on our farm where you can settle down with a book or a cup of coffee.
Experience the spring awakening
In early spring, February and March, things are a little quieter on our farm and in the region. Visit us during this beautiful time, when the days are getting longer again and the sun gently warms your nose, for a short holiday or a family reunion. Enjoy the awakening of nature on a long walk, listen to the birdsong and welcome our returning pair of storks. During this time we offer great packages with special highlights, for example a sauna barrel for your sole use.
Highlights in the surroundings
Our farm is located directly on one of the kilometre-long, well-signposted cycle and hiking paths. The well-surfaced paths lead through the beautiful Franconian landscape with many springs and are easy to master without major differences in altitude. In summer, many bathing lakes such as the Altmühlsee and the Brombachsee attract visitors. A boat trip with the "Brombachsee Trimaran", a family match at soccergolf or a visit to the Playmobil Funpark also guarantee lots of fun. The knights' playground with its 30m-long cable car in Wolframs-Eschenbach is just as popular as the summer toboggan run in Pleinfeld. For those interested in culture, we recommend the cities of Ansbach, Nuremberg or Weißenburg.
